Located in Thailand Science Park (TSP), Shimadzu Bara Technical Center is a collaborative project between Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte., Ltd., Bara Scientific Co.,Ltd., and National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). The opening ceremony of the Technical Center was held at Innovation Cluster 1 Building, on March 17th, 2008, with impressive Japanese traditional activities & dances.

Objective of Shimadzu Bara Technical Center is to support Thailand electronic and automotive industry in capability of determining hazardous substance or trace element analysis in electronics and related product in order to comply with existing and up-coming international standard, the RoHS/WEEE and the ELV Directives.

Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte., Ltd. is one of the world’s leading developers and manufactures analytical and inspection instruments established in 1875, 133 years ago in Kyoto, Japan. Shimadzu’s beginning with Thailand was in the late 70s where Japanese turn key projects started.

Bara Scientific Co., Ltd. is one of the affiliated company of Bara Windsor Group which have more than 50 companies for synergy network. The company is exclusive distributor for sales and technical service of Shimadzu product in Thailand for more than 20 years.

Fascinating Japanese traditional activities and dances got loud applause from the guests.
